| John Dean -
John Dean has been a journalist and writer since 1980. He worked
for many years in the regional press, ending up on the newsdesk
of a major regional morning title, before becoming freelance
in 1996. He has won several awards for his work.
In addition to his journalism, John is also the author of
a children's novel - Haghir the Dragon finder - and a creative
writing tutor. He has also published a number of books for other
people.
The subjects which particularly interest John are the environment,
crime and policing, business and travel.
John's work has appeared in more than 30 publications including
The Sunday Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Times Educational Supplement,
The Guardian, The Northern Echo, Reader's Digest, Police Review,
Special Beat and The Dalesman.
Corporate clients include Wear Valley District Council, The
Industry and Nature Conservation Association, Durham Wildlife
Trust and Groundwork Trust.
